Anyone having problems with automatic high beams on their Uncharted?

I have no problem with my lights going from high to low when needed for oncoming traffic or a car in front of me.

I have a problem, however, with the lights automatically switching from low to high as often and as quickly as they should. Too much of the time when it's dark, there's no other traffic nearby, no streetlights, and I'm driving relatively fast... my headlights stay at low beams.

I have to either settle for less light than I want, or I have to manually turn on the high beams — which of course means having to remember to shut them off for oncoming traffic, something I'm long out of the habit of doing since I've had good, effective automatic headlights for many years, with at least the last three vehicles I've owned.

I'm hoping this is something that can be adjusted and fixed. Not that I've made a big fuss yet, but I said something to the sales guy who sold me the car a few days after I bought the car and he wanted to brush it off as "that's just the way they work".

Hopefully someone in the service department won't be quite so dismissive.

Is it just me? Or anyone else having this problem?

(Other than the headlight issue, I'm enjoying this car a lot, as I mentioned in this other post about my new vinyl wrap.)
