Cat sneezing more often than usual

My cat is completely normal, except she has been sneezing more frequently, and i noticed it yesterday. it’s enough to be slightly concerning, but not where i think she is deathly ill… i also am kind of a helicopter parent to her so im trying not to jump to the worst conclusion.

there is no discharge, and they don’t seem to be particularly “heavy” sneezes, if that makes sense. her breathing is normal, no wheezing, she doesn’t sound congested, my husband mentioned he thought she was “breathing fast” the other night, but i haven’t noticed anything like that, but she’s also a little ball of anxiety, but i almost feel that’s not really related because it hasn’t been consistent with the sneezing.

no negative personality changes, she’s already a hider/skittish, but she’s not aggressive or lethargic, if anything she’s been a bit more social.

everything online says eliminate possible irritants, but there hasn’t been any changes that i can find that would cause it, because we haven’t done anything “new”.

the only new things i can think of are:

- the other day i turned my plug in air freshener up to the “second notch” from the first, but last night i turned it back down

-i cleaned the bathroom sink off of our bedroom with lysol tuesday or wednesday (where she spends a good amount of time), mostly at night, and it’s an enclosed bathroom with no windows and two small vents. she doesn’t seem to go in there, but i don’t know if that has messed with her sinuses if we leave the door open at night and it didn’t properly vent.

- i also got a cat water fountain from my stepmother, that i set up for her, and i know this probably isn’t it, but i worry it’s just a sketchy low quality Temu product, and she doesn’t seem to particularly care for it so i unplugged it.

i feel like i haven’t been given a straight answer really, it ranges from either just irritants or she has an infection. I don’t think it’s the latter because the other lack of symptoms, and she seems perfectly normal, but i know cats are good at “masking”, but i’m not sure what’s masking, or just nothing being wrong. i guess i just don’t know when i should “worry”.

I’m not a minor in the US, i live in an apartment complex, but i can afford vet care.

tldr: cat is sneezing more than usual, but doesn’t present other concerning issues.
