(Spoilers for 11-22-63) Imagine if you lived in the town of Jodie >!and you got a facial disfigurement, and they didn't stage a variety show to raise money for your plastic surgery.!<

!Two variety shows, both put on to help people with facial injuries sets one hell of a precedent for the town to live up to. Could you imagine how the next person in the town felt who got into a car crash, waiting excitedly to watch the show where everyone laughs uproariously at cream pies being splatted into people's faces, only to find out that they weren't going to put on a show?!<

!How bad does the facial injury have to be to trigger a variety show? Is the threshold lower for good-looking people? Are some people too ugly to bother staging a theatre production for? !<
