I used to pride myself on my Match Madness skills, smashing it to completion without powerups. But I haven't been able to finish Flashcard Frenzy yet. It always seems like it takes so long to mark my answer correct and show the next flashcard I'm saying that it would be impossible to finish the faster levels. I've run a animation company for the last eight years. I've had great years financially and creatively, great clients, individual projects and long-term contract work. Covid was hard, but we got through it. But now my quotations are down from 20+ a month to two. And I've just realised I haven't won a new contract since March.

I've always read it as Jahooblies in my head. But looking closer at a recent post here I've realised it's actually Jahoobies. I'm kind of disappointed. Jahooblies sounds more natural to me, like an extension of Jublies. Jahoobies... I guess it's closer to boobies but it doesn't have the same ring to me.

I know I can't be the only one thinking this - I know these bands can play, but I just can't hear them! All I can hear is the drums and the sometimes the bass. I can see the guitarist widdlying for his life but he might as well be in a different room cos I can just about vaguely hear him somewhere in the background. I know it's not easy playing in a different venue every night but please, if you're in a rock or metal band, you surely want people to actually be able to hear the songs, right?

We need to have an Intervention. Sit all the bands down and say guys, we can't hear you.

I'm struggling to make an object transparent in Blender 5. I understand that the different blend modes have been removed in Blender 5, but there used to be a checkbox called "Show Backface" which stopped the backfaces from being visible when you reduced the transparency. Does anyone know how to achieve the effect in Blender 5?

I have found Backface Culling in the Materials tab, and there are three checkboxes, "Camera, Shadow and Light Probe Value" none of which stop the backfaces from being visible.

The thing I always feared would happen just happened. Just walking back from the shops on a lovely Sunday afternoon, 50 yards from our apartment, two guys pull up on me and my wife and pull a gun out of a bag. I did the stupid thing and just kept us walking, saying we don’t have anything, and then we broke into a run. Luckily there were some dog walkers at the end of the block. My wife started shouting for help at the top of her voice and they must have given up because we made it to the end of the road. I know it was dumb, but fuck it, I feel great for not giving them anything.

Hi there, I'm a UK citizen currently living in the UK and I'm going to be getting married in Brasil and I need some advice from someone who has already gone through the process. I'm struggling to find info about what I need to bring with me.

Passport, proof of address Birth certificate, notarised and translated Certificate of No Impediment translated

Am I missing anything? The gov.uk website says I need to book an appointment at the consulate to get something called Marital Status Affirmation, but is that the same as the Certificate of No Impediment? Do I need to get the Certificate of No Impediment notarised?

Hi there, as the title suggests I'm looking for a way to turn off suggested contacts from when I'm typing in a phone number on the phone Keypad. This feature has just appeared for me (18.1.1) and I'm having a bit of a problem with it. This might sound stupid but I don't like being reminded of certain people in my contacts list, I get sort of mild anxiety attacks.

I've had a Google, but all it suggests is turning off the Show Contact Suggestion setting in Siri which doesn't seem to exist for me. I don't think it relates to the same thing anyway.
