42 M Running & Coffee (Marylebone / Fitzrovia area)

Hey all! I'm a 42 M from Chicago visiting London with my family for the month of July. We've been here a couple of weeks already and will be around until July 31.

I'm hoping to meet some local runners and make a few friends while I'm here. I looked into local run clubs, but I haven't found many that consistently meet around 6:00 AM.

I'll be running from the southeast side of Regent's Park every morning this week at 6:15 AM. My running pace is usually around 8:30 to 9:30/mile (5:15 to 5:55/km), and I'm happy to run shorter or longer depending on what others are doing.

Starting next week I'll be working US Central Time hours, so I'll have my mornings and afternoons free while my kids are at camp. I'd also be up for grabbing a coffee, exploring a new neighborhood, or checking out a pub.

A little about me:

  • Marathon runner
  • Work in tech marketing
  • Sports fan (American football, baseball, curious about others too)
  • Travel
  • Investing
  • Exploring cities like a local
  • Board games

If you're around and any of that sounds interesting, send me a message. Always happy to meet new people while traveling.
