Mother in law trying to buy my son

A lot of shit has gone down between me and my mother in law to the point I don’t see or have a relationship with her and she’s not welcome in my house which is a very new development. This came from an argument we had where she threatened to never buy toys for my son again (he was 6 month old at the time)

My mil has never been interested in her one and only grandchild, she’s only ever been interested in her own son. She’s met my son maybe 8 times and he’s 9 months old.

I have told my mil before I don’t like her trying to buy my son as she doesn’t bother with him but then will turn up with a lot of junk for him. Her new thing is getting him clothes. However, yes this sounds like me being a snob but all the clothes are from shein and look very cheap. They also all have hoods, I don’t put my son in hoods since I read an article about a toddler accidentally (you know what) themselves. I’ve told her time and time again only buy himself stuff on his birthday, christmas or Easter, but she insists on bringing up this junk. I do try to sell it on vinted. And tbh it might sound snobby but idk, I don’t wear clothes from shein and neither will my son. This is mainly because I think shein clothes look cheap and nasty and I don’t like to support a company with that kinda reputation. I do buy my son clothes from vinted so it’s not a snobby thing it’s a clothes from Shein look cheap and nasty kinda thing.

It’s just annoying as I’ve told her I hate people trying to buy me and my son.
