Ended up sharing an umbrella with a guy from my calc class and now my brain won't shut up about it

So it poured after lecture yesterday and I was completely unprepared (classic me). This guy from my calc section I barely know just walks up, pops his umbrella open, and goes “come on, you look pathetic out here.” We walked all the way across campus under it. He kept bumping shoulders with me like it was nothing and talking about how he sucks at derivatives too. Super normal conversation but the whole time I’m hyper-aware of how close we are and how good he smells. Got to my dorm, said thanks, and he just grinned and said “same time next storm?” Now I’m sitting here replaying the whole five minutes like an idiot. Is this me catching feelings over an umbrella or just lonely freshman brain doing its thing?
