My 3 cats have given each other food anxiety

All cats are boys

All cats are neutered

Ages 13, 9, and 8

Main issue:

I had two cats, then my husband and I moved in together and he had 1 cat.

My senior cat 13M and my adult cat 9M have mostly always gotten along

But my senior cat 13 was always in charge.

When we moved in with my husband, my sweet 10lb senior cat decided he was going to bully my husbands 8M 15lb muscular cat into respecting him, my husbands cat was not having it.

This did not go well.

Now, they can all be in bed together and even share the couch but when it comes to eating they're all frightened of another cat getting the drop on them when they're eating. So when they skip meals they start crowding around each other's bowls which reinforced the fear.

Relevant info

- 3 cats in a moderately spacious 2 bedroom apartment

- they all use chip feeders because of different medical food diets

- they all eat in sperate rooms

No matter how I arrange furniture or bowls someone isn't happy, I'm not sleeping properly because I'm being woke up to watch all the cats eat twice night.

I feel stressed and overwhelmed.

I'm thinking we might need to get my senior cat on prozac but we had to skip buying groceries this week so I'm not really sure how that is going to happen, he has a vet he sees around February every year.
