France Schengen Business Visa from India – Appointment on Sept 1, Travel on Sept 12 (11-day gap). Is this too risky?

Hi everyone,
I’m applying for a France Schengen Business Visa from India.
Here are my dates:

-Visa appointment: 1 September (earliest available)
-Travel dates: 12 September – 28 September

This will be my first Schengen visa, and I’m a bit concerned about the timeline since there’s only an 11-day gap between my visa appointment and my departure.

I’d love to hear from anyone who has recently applied from India:
-Has anyone had a similar timeline?
-How long did it take to receive your passport after your appointment?
-Is an 11-day gap usually sufficient if all the documents are in order, or is it cutting it too close?
-Is there anything I can do to improve my chances of getting the passport back before my travel date?
