The fusion has 180,000 miles

Details in pics for the other two cars.

Strictly commuting. 4 car family down to 3 cars.

I need to have my car to myself given my field (home care) needing to visit multiple patients/clients throughout the day. So it's more like three people juggling two cars and schedules don't always work best

I have 10k-12k (not spending that much is good too 😀)I can put to something used. But I'm also able/willing to finance something new around 20-23k putting 10-12k towards it after settling on an OTD price. Was thinking a Hyundai Elantra or a Civic if I can get it that low. Don't need fancy bells and whistles, more than okay with base models.

Or put 3,500-4,000 into the 2012 Honda Civic for a new used motor installed. My work schedule is hectic the past couple of years or else I'd put one in myself. Basically I have time to go home and sleep. Also why any major repairs out of convenience will be done at a local shop I trust.

Don't have much options being in a rural area. Everything else is up to 10 years old beat up cars and/or no ac with 200,000 miles people wanting way too. The rest are cars everyone says to avoid. A/C is a priority in my area.

I'm open to other options to keep an eye out for.

New or used whatever I get will be kept for life.

All my previous vehicles I've kept for 250,000+ till they kicked the bucket.

Making a decision is hard. 2012 Honda Civic is done for, bro ran it low oil, engine is cooked. Need another vehicle for the household. A couple options available in post.
