Trouble with practicing because my apartment is too cold

Hi friends! Looking for some advice here (I apologize I didn’t see a flair for advice/questions). I started learning pole maybe 2 months ago from a friend of mine who does private lessons out of her home. Her house is an older home that gets pretty warm, especially in the summer, so I don’t really have that much trouble sticking to the pole (until my muscles get tired haha).

However, I wanted to be able to practice what I learn from her at home, so I bought a used pole and put it up in my apartment. I keep my place around 70/71, but that’s still too cold to be able to stick to the pole for practicing climbs and spins, even with grip on.

I’d hate to make my apartment warm just for the hour or so a day that I practice, so does anyone have any tricks they use for something like this? I always warm up my body beforehand, and I’ve even tried the hair dryer trick, but it’s still pretty slick.

Thank you so much for any help!!!
