Japan Visa - Employer Letter Requirement

I’m applying for a Japan tourist visa and have received my employment certificate from my employer.

I noticed that the Japanese Embassy’s requirements mention that the employer’s letter should state that the employee will return to work after the trip.

Is this statement actually mandatory for the visa application?

My employer is refusing to include this wording in the employment letter, although the letter confirms my employment, position, salary, and other relevant details.

Has anyone had a similar experience? Did you submit the application without the “return to work” or "return to country"statement, and was it accepted?

Any advice or recent experiences would be appreciated.
