Never thought i’d care this much about ticket support until concert day
I’d always had pretty straightforward ticket purchases before, so once i had the ticket i basically stopped thinking about it.
recently i started looking at secondary tickets for a show and noticed some transfers can happen pretty close to the event. that was the first time i really thought, wait... what actually happens if something goes wrong when i’m already at the venue?
you’re outside. doors are open. your friends are asking if the ticket is working.
meanwhile you’re refreshing your phone like crazy.
Your hands are sweaty. you’re lowkey shaking. your legs feel weird and weak. everyone around you is excited and all you can think is:
oh god, am i actually not getting in?
and if support replies with “we’ll get back to you within 24 hours” at that moment... i think i’d lose it 😭
That’s why when i was looking at veritickets recently, i actually paid attention to whether there was a real person you could reach if something went wrong on event day.
even just hearing “i’m checking this for you right now” would calm me down so much.
never thought customer support would matter this much for a concert ticket.
Do you guys actually check event-day support before buying, or is that something you only start thinking about later?
