Subreddit Meta: This sub has too much political content. A r/FortWorthPolitics may be needed?

It feels like 70% of the content in this sub is politics/Mercy/BoFrench lately. This is important content, and I get how we need to be informed. It is just a bit much, and a lot of it is dupes. Are there mods here? The pinned thread has been pinned for the better part of a year now, and I sort of wonder if the mods are awol.

r/Dallas seems to run 10-15% politics, which seems about right. Not sure if they moderate the content some or not.
