Good News survival stories wanted!
Hey everyone! First time dad to a newly 4 month old girl. She is the light of my life and my wife and I love her to pieces. My wife’s PPL is over and I have been on mine for about a month and I have to say…we’re exhausted lol. We’re on the cusp of the 4 month sleep regression (crossing our fingers is atleast misses our night sleep!) and we basically feel like activities directors on a cruise line trying to keep her entertained during a lot of her wake windows.
I know a lot of people say it gets better and I have no doubt it does, otherwise people wouldn’t have kids anymore! We’re nervous about the regression, sleep, and milestones all the time. Was just hoping to hear some good news stories possibly about it their kids made it through unscathed or if it did how long it lasted? And when was your little one able to entertain themselves for a bit? Hoping we’re not too far out but from what I was told by coworkers, the first year is just a mess because of the regressions and milestones.
