\*TLDR: is this a decent price for bladder stone removal surgery?\*

I (30F) found blood in my cat’s (8F spayed) urine last night, so I brought her to the vet today where they admitted her for the day and ended up finding bladder stones. I am absolutely freaking heartbroken and I feel like an absolute failure of a pet parent, I have spent the last 24 hours in tears because I cannot believe I have allowed her to get to this point. She has not shown any signs of pain or discomfort. She has been her silly, loving self for who knows how long…just pushing through something I cannot even imagine.

The vet visit today was nearly $800, they gave me these quotes on surgery. There are two quotes based on how the surgery could go. They also gave me the option to do the Hills C/D diet with regular vet appts to check progress and see if the stones will be able to dissolve enough before going through with the surgery. I guess I just want to know if this is cheap, reasonable, or overpriced for the surgery and if I should get a second opinion elsewhere? I am already aware that she will be going on this diet regardless for the rest of her life.

Please be kind to me. I am trying my best to right my wrongs and do what needs to be done to help my poor baby girl.

I’m in Minnesota, US btw

\*2nd photo is cat tax of her currently. Her pupils are extremely dilated from the opiates\*

Is this a fair price for surgery?
