Xfinity X1 cable box issue

For the past several months since I have upgraded my cable box to the Xfinity X1 cable box I have been dealing with many issues with it, the main issue is at random when I am watching tv the cable box stops working leaving me with no picture or sound. I’ve tried everything from resetting it to unplugging it for a bit then plugging it back in yet I am still having the same problem. Is this a known issue with the cable box?
