Can't believe i had to fight to get a new prescription for Glaupax / Diamox

I was discharged from the Hospital 2 weeks ago (i think) with a new Dx of IIH and a pack of 30 pills of Glaupax. I haven't been on it since Sunday because my Primary care refused to prescribe it to me! Claiming its a "Eye issue and we don't treat that". I don't have an Eye doctor atm, besides the one dude i saw as an emergency. He refused to prescribe it to me too bc it is an "Neurology" issue. And i don't have an Neurologist either bc the wait times in Germany are atrocious! I was lucky enough to get an emergency appointment at the Eye clinic today and the Head doctor was furious at my Situation and couldn't believe his eyes (pun intended). He said i needed the med to prevent me from going blind and prescribed me a set of 100 till my next hospital stay at the end of this month. I still don't believe how hard it was to get this med that i NEED!
