Genuine Question, why are so many of us obsessed with DL men?

I know a lot of gays who desperately want to find and hookup with DL men and I truly don’t get why. I see guys on the apps who are actively searching to find DL men. I fully understand being attracted to masculine men as that’s also what I go for, but there are plenty of openly masc gay/bi men. Are they better at sex than openly gay men? Is it just the thrill of knowing you’re their secret? I genuinely want to know why some gay men are so eager to turn a guy out knowing he’s probably gonna block or ghost immediately after sex.

Also when I say DL I don’t mean closeted because every queer person was in the closet at one point. I’m talking about “straight” men who are married to or dating women and secretly looking for sex with men.
