Anyone decided to be a teacher at 40, and/or after “retirement”?

Considering a career switch to be a school teacher. I did a short stint when I was 25, fresh out of uni, where I did adjunct lecturing at an ITE and 15 years later, it’s still my favorite job so far. Granted yes I only worked for a few months, but I always felt that it was impactful in its own way.

Being always somewhat of an underdog, where teachers always expected me to fail, I loved that job in so many ways.

I’m curious to know your experience if you’ve made the career transition of sorts!
