Because some days I forget and end up feeling bad I wasn’t good enough for her
But let’s not forget how she never once took accountability for the things she did
How she would even admit to be toxic and joked about it
How she has no empathy and genuinely can’t seem to understand the pain she has caused
Wants unconditional love but has absolutely no idea (or care) what she brings to the relationship
How cruel she is - like she does not care about boundaries and sometimes would even send really gruesome trigger warning required kind of videos and laugh about it (when I got it I was soooo mad and upset! Felt sick)
How she cheated on someone else with me (she ghosted me first, and then thi
Considering a career switch to be a school teacher. I did a short stint when I was 25, fresh out of uni, where I did adjunct lecturing at an ITE and 15 years later, it’s still my favorite job so far. Granted yes I only worked for a few months, but I always felt that it was impactful in its own way.
Being always somewhat of an underdog, where teachers always expected me to fail, I loved that job in so many ways.
I’m curious to know your experience if you’ve made the career transition of sorts!
I started biz right after uni graduation and been at it for 15-20 years now. Before that, I actually started selling things as a kid as well.
Severely burned out from biz and started thinking about jobs and realized I probably can’t hold a job anyway and don’t have the skills to… pretty crazy.
Anyone feels the same?
I don’t think I can work in any of those… and I don’t think I have the skills to work in other settings like hospitals/medical.
I think the year apart has really helped.
I also went through a few rounds ivf in the last 6 months by myself that I feel has changed me dramatically, in a good way. For preservation. It’s made me clearer about what I want in life, and also made me want to get my life together to be a better parent. It’s made me feel clear that she wouldn’t make a good parent or spouse (lol clearly - she wasn’t even around..)
It feels like the fog has started to lift, and the weeks just get clearer and clearer (also scary how foggy things were for so long! I’m not sure if it’s some woo woo thing as well but it didn’t feel foggy before I met her. Such coincidental timing. Though I’m thankful for a lot of t
A few days ago, I wrote about how I accepted my ex is narcissistic (after she ghosted me a year ago, so I guess I’ve had a year to recover… slowly but surely)
And an hour ago, I had a vendor snapped hard at me. Same set of behavior - lying, avoiding, more lying, deflecting by calling names, insulting, having zero remorse, taking no true accountability.
Made my stomach sick. Even though it’s just a couple of hundred bucks. It’s more about the behavior.
He basically sent me the wrong order 2 months ago, and I pointed it out immediately. He said he’d try to send a replacement overnight, and if not, he’d do a refund. He did not. Yo, it’s only $60. 🤦🏻♂️
Then his social media profile disappe
- Single. Budget under $1m.
Travel to town (Orchard, City Hall, Raffles) within 25-30 min by MRT is good.
Prefer staying near MRT (currently staying sheltered walkway to it, and I love it).
3-4 room is ok.
I like the area to be less dense and quieter (Tampines, Bedok, Kallang are all very busy/crowded!)
Might have a kid in 1-2 years.
Any recommendations?
