Monster Sunday: Week 48 - Shifted Orthrus

Discussion

Good afternoon, everyone! Our exploration of the shifter menagerie continues, as we continue to take monsters away from healing and onto more aggressive roles. But they say the best defense is a good offense, just like they say that two heads are better than one. So, by that logic, give a warm welcome to the best boy, Shifted Orthrus!

Base HP: 35

Aether: Fire / Earth

Trait: Two Headed (Shifted): On Attack, if it was this monster's first Attack of the turn: Applies 2 Weakness to target enemy. If it was this monster's second Attack of the turn: Applies Power to self.

Types: Sidekick, Power, Weakness

Perks: >!Sidekick Damage +1!<, >!Initial Weakness +3!<, >!Health +5!<

Starting Actions:

Spore: 1 Earth. 2 x 3 Earth damage against target enemy. Applies 3 Weakness to target enemy.

Fire Fang: 2 Fire. 2 x 5 Fire damage against target enemy. Applies Sidekick to self.

So, how does everyone feel about the double headed beast? Does adding weakness into the mix make the doggo better than the healing of the base form? Or is finding room for it in your party a herculean task? Let us know in the comments below!
