I'm surprised not more chatter about TIPS

I'm surprised I haven't seen more chatter on here about TIPS. I went in very hard on a 30-year TIPS ladder a few months ago, which will provide me retirement income for the next 30 years.

It sucks that rates have continued to climb (i.e. I could have bought the same income for less money now), but I'm still pretty stoked about my inflation-adjusted income plan.

Anyone else go in hard on a TIPS ladder retirement plan in the last year?

TIPS are providing a 30-year draw down (to zero) of 4.84% right now.

So $1M would provide $48,400 in inflation adjusted income for 30 years.
