Official Weekly Buy/Sell/Trade Thread

Buy/Sell/Trade here at your own risk. Always get complete contact information before anything is shipped.

RULES:

  1. Post a description that accurately describes what you are selling.

  2. Update your thread when something gets sold or is no longer available.

  3. Post item condition and any images of the item (if available). Be as descriptive as possible when posting an item for sale or trade.

NOTE: Please refrain from downvoting posts. The last few weeks has seen a big spike in postings, but an equally large spike in random downvotes on listings. Everyone deserves an equal shot, so let's try to be fair and only upvote good deals, not downvote the competition.

Suggestions:

  • 99% of us use Paypal to facilitate these transactions. Gifting is fine, but understand the limits and liabilities of sending an unprotected "gift" to a seller. You'll save a bit of $, but it does leave you exposed if there is a fraudulent seller. So far though, in almost a year of this reoccurring thread, I haven't heard of any fraudulent transactions. But just try to be smart about things.

  • Please try to evaluate the "fair market value" of your items. No use in overpricing things and having them not sell. Check what the current selling price is on eBay to get a decent sense of FMV. Also know that retailers like JCrew, Banana Republic, Gap, etc. have biweekly sales, so their MSRP is not the "true price". Adjust accordingly.

  • Feel free to ask for answers or pictures about an item you are interested in. A good seller will always be willing to answer you in a timely matter.

  • On the other hand, be a good buyer. Respond to the seller's communication, and be truthful about your intentions. Nothing is worse for a seller than answering a bunch of questions about fit and details, and then the potential buyer dropping off the map.

A Few price drops! Hey there! I've had lots of good feedback on here, eBay, and StyleForum. All of my prices include shipping fees and Paypal fees (for the U.S.) I do ship to Canada, but please contact me if you are from there and are interested in any of my items. I usually respond to messages pretty quickly, so if you have any inquiries (measurements, more pics, etc.) please message me! Thanks!

[SOLD] New Gustin #20 Heavy Japan - 31 Straight - $55 Gustin #20 Heavy Japan

Bonobos Nottingham Blazer (Gray) - 38s (Brand New, hasn't been worn)

The measurements are as followed:

Shoulder Width: 17.5"

Pit to Pit: 20-20.5"

Body Length (Back): 28"

Sleeve length from top of shoulder: 23-23.5"

Sleeve width: 5.5"

Got this off the final sale for bonobos. Unfortunately a little too tight. It's a great slim blazer with no padding on the shoulders. Can provide extra measurements if needed, or you could ask bonobos. Here is the link to the item on the website.

Jos A bank Merino Wool V Neck Sweater (Dark Red) - Signature Line Size S

  • $30 + Shipping (Conus)

This fits a medium. I've had this for about a year but haven't worn it much. I can post pictures later but there is very little pilling because it hasn't been worn much. It's made of 100% merino wool and usually retails for $100+. I have a bunch of sweaters already and don't need one especially because this one doesn't compliment my wardrobe.

Hasn't seen much use, basically brand new. Here's the link to it. The color is "berry."

Club Room Henley (Burgundy) - Size S

Selling this because I bought new henleys. Henley is in great shape and fits a little big. (I wear medium for reference.) Overall not a bad Henley, but the color doesn't match my new wardrobe.

Outlier OG Black - Size 34 (Older version, not New OGS from website)

  • $140 + Shipping (Conus)

  • Pics here

Measurements:

Waist: 17.5"

Front Rise: 11.5"

Back Rise: 17"

Thigh 2" from crotch: 13"

Knee: 9"

Hem: 8"

Inseam: 33.5"

Old OG's from outlier. Decided to sell them because I bought a new pair after losing weight since these are a little loose. Good condition, waterproof, stretchy, nice stuff to wear. It's been washed a couple times. (Pilling inside, but can be removed.) There are no stains or holes, from a smoke-free home. One of my favorite pants.

Banana Republic Slim Washed Indigo Traveler Jeans - 33x34 - $35

http://i.imgur.com/kF0KWIy.jpg

http://bananarepublic.gap.com/browse/product.do?cid=91449&vid=1&pid=932959002

A new type of denim from BR. Very slim fitting (similar to Levi's 511) and of a higher quality (and price) than their other jeans. Button fly and closure, minor pre-fading/distressing, made from Japanese cotton. Very soft and comfortable but just a little too slim for my taste (14" leg opening).

Gap Straight Fit Dark Wash Denim - 34x34 - $10 SOLD

Great jeans, no longer fit me. They have like a year of wear, pretty slim for straight fit jeans. Great fit for lifters.

Gap Lived-in Button Down - Small - $15

http://i.imgur.com/GwomutV.jpg [7]

Another excellent shirt. Loved this thing to pieces until I realized it was too short for me. Nice navy blue color. Less than 10 wears.

Gap Lived-in Gingham Button Down - Small - $15 SOLD

http://i.imgur.com/vCxUAwx.jpg [8]

Probably my favorite shirt in this little clearout. Letting it go has been emotionally traumatizing. Excellent colors (red, navy blue, grey/white) go really well with dark wash jeans. Sort of a thin flannel material, good for any season but summer. Worn less than 10 times.

Looking to sell via Paypal. I've sold a bunch of stuff both here and in MaleFashionMarket, all pleasant transactions.

EDIT: Gap gingham shirt and jeans are sold, BR jeans and other shirt are still for sale.

album

Sorry about the bad quality, I used my iPhone to take the pics. The purple stains you see are due to the camera, they aren't part of the pants.

If it helps, heres the original link to the pants. The real color is darker than the color on the website, much closer to this color actually.

They were purchased about 3 months ago, but have only been worn once or twice, and washed once (cold wash, hang-dried).

1

Ah, so they are the current Uniqlo ones. I saw them in store and wasn't really a fan of them. Thanks, though.

Shipping not included, but I'm happy to negotiate prices. Can also get more precise measurements, fit pics, or additional pictures of any item. All items are in good condition - I found some old things in my closet that were stretched or heavily worn-out, etc. and those pieces did not make it here. Pet-free, smoke-free home.

(NEW!) indicates a newly added item.

(Shirts)

  • (NEW!) Left Field shirts - size S - white, purple, green - $30 each - brand-new, never worn, picked up from the variety box sale but they're not really my style. All ringspun cotton, MiUSA, very high quality shirts.

  • Aeropostale plaid shirt - red - size M - $15 - awesome plaid shirt, super soft and a nice color palette. Aero doesn't get much love here but these are a couple years old and one of their pieces that doesn't suck IMO. I have three of these shirts in different colors, and I really like them all but I finally realized they were too big on me. All in great condition. green and blue sold - red still up for grabs!

  • Uniqlo flannel - purple/navy - size M - $20 - really great flannel from the store everybody knows. 10 or so wears, but I can't keep pretending this fits me, it's just too big. super soft, substantial but not too heavy, excellent condition.

  • AEO white western-style(?) snap-closure button-down - size M - $15 - cool shirt, just a little big on me. pretty lightweight and the snaps add some interesting detail. great condition, no stains or blemishes (hard to find in a used white shirt IMO)

  • AEO blue/white striped button-down, size M - $15 - quality shirt. the eagle logo is less noticeable in person. like most of my medium shirts, I've realized it's just a bit too big on me.

  • jcp solid blue OCBD - size S - $20 - excellent shirt for the price, nearly as popular as Uniqlo's for frugal OCBDs. I believe JCPenney is discontinuing this product (and most/all of their men's clothing, or at least the jcp line?). great condition, only owned/worn for a few months (snagged one in store when the clearance was first starting). only selling because I "upgraded" to BB OCBDs when they had the 3 for $150 or whatever sale.

  • (NEW!) Merona black button-up shirt - size S - $10 - a few years old, but hardly ever worn. excellent condition. 60% cotton, 40% poly.

(Pants & Shorts)

Shoes

  • Asos navy/white print espadrilles - 10D - $15 - ~10 wears. don't appear to be available on the website anymore. apparently I ordered a UK 9, which is a US 10, which probably explains why I always thought they were a little big. my mistake is your gain. really cool pattern on these, great casual summer shoes.

  • Dockers Catalina loafers - 9D - $40 - wore these in rotation with several other pairs of shoes during spring/summer, still in great condition. MSRP $80, on sale for $60 on Amazon currently. normally I'd be skeptical of shoes from Dockers, but these are a really great frugal option if you want to try loafers but don't want to spend a ton. the cushioned footbed on these is super comfortable with or without socks.

Sweaters & Outerwear

  • Aeropostale dark gray fair isle zip cardigan - size M - $25 - I don't think I've ever actually worn this. once or twice at most. cotton/wool blend, great condition.

  • Gap wool mock-neck pullover sweater with snap closures - charcoal - size M - $30 - less than 10 wears. super warm and comfy. several of those wears just came from wearing this around the house when it was cold because it feels that good. had this for several years and I'm pretty sure Gap doesn't sell it anymore. overall great sweater, I know I'll be holding onto it if I can't sell it here.

  • Polo Ralph Lauren quarter-zip pullover fleece - yellow - size M - $15 - never worn, got it as a gift and it's not really my style. pretty soft though.

  • GH Bass quarter-zip pullover fleece - burnt orange - size M - $15 - a little darker in person, second picture is more representative of the color. only wore this once or twice, like-new condition. fairly light so you could wear it in spring or even summer depending on the day.

  • American Eagle military-style jacket - charcoal - size S - $50 - this is tagged size L, but if it were really an L it'd be huge on me. as it is, it fits fine, like what I'd expect an S or possibly M to fit like. I don't know. I can take measurements or provide fit pics if you're interested. Anyway, this has been in my closet for a long time and it's pretty heavy and super warm. definitely the warmest coat I owned until recently (probably second now to my Schott car coat). the pockets are pretty wrinkled in these pictures, but I can try and steam it or something before I ship if it's bothering you. it's otherwise in perfect condition, no tears/stains/etc.

  • (NEW!) SNS Herning Ideal sweater - navy - size S - $75 - it feels odd even listing this here alongside so much mall brand stuff. Barely worn at all, perfect condition, just selling because it is too small for me. Kept folded, only hung for display. 100% new wool, made in Europe.

  • (NEW!) Express merino wool v-neck sweaters - beige and royal blue - size S - $25 each - worn 1-2 times each. very nice slim-fitting sweaters, only selling because they are a little small on me. I'm generally wary of Express but I found these quite nice for the money when I bought them. Very soft 100% merino wool sweaters with no pilling or other signs of wear. The dark marks on the beige sweater are just shadows, not dirt. These have been kept folded and were only hung for photography purposes. Note that the blue is a more medium/royal blue in real life, the picture makes it look slightly more indigo/navy.

  • (NEW!) Globe Goodstock trucker jacket in camel - size S - $65 - worn lightly (but often) for a few months, only selling because I wanted to move up to the new Rogue Territory jacket. Even then, it's hard to let go of this. Retails for $70 but this color was sold out everywhere I looked. Excellent condition, very solid trucker jacket, found myself preferring this over my Levi's Commuter which retails for twice as much.

Other

  • Levi's red belt, size 34 - $15 - like-new condition, pretty cool color, I just have too many belts. color is just slightly darker than what appears in the first picture.

  • near-full 4oz tub of Obenauf's Heavy Duty LP - $8 - if you want to weatherproof your boots, this is a great choice. I bought this and realized I don't need weatherproofing for my needs, so I'm selling it. a full 4oz tub is $12 on Amazon Prime or $10+whatever shipping costs on the Obenauf's website.

PM or reply here if you see something you're interested in. again, I'm happy to provide extra pics, more info, or negotiate prices. thanks for reading!

Levi's 511 Rigid Dragon 32x34: $25 shipped

Album: Two pictures of the front, two of the back. One taken in front of a sunny window, one in the shade. The sunny pictures have a solid black t-shirt in them for color reference.

I've had these jeans for 2-3 months, and they've been washed maybe 10 times. The color is very close to, if not the same as, it was when I got them. The "rigid" feel of the fabric is gone, as usually happens after a month or so with Levi's rigid jeans.

Measurements:

 Waist...........33"
 Thigh...........10 3/4"
 Knee............7 3/8"
 Leg Opening.....6 7/8"
 Front Rise......9 1/4"
 Back Rise.......12 5/8"
 Inseam..........33 5/8"

Note: These measurements are after washing and hang-drying. The pants are Levi's 'stretch' material (98% cotton, 2% elastane). I find that putting them on immediately feels tight, but after ~2 wears, they settle into a more comfortable fit that stays until they're washed again.

Note about sizing: I usually wear 32x32 pants. My true inseam measurement is 32"; that said, several brands overstate their inseam measurements. This isn't necessarily true of 511s, but I find the relatively low rise requires me to buy 32x34s in 511s. Other pants like 508s fit me fine in 32x32.
My point is, if you're a taller guy who usually wears 32x32s, these will fit you with a bit of stacking (or cuffing, but it's not necessary).

This is cheaper than you will find these jeans on levi.com, even during their best sales with free shipping. I could probably ship wherever you want, but anywhere but the continental US will cost you extra in shipping.
