Any Update on using Party Chat With non-beta friends?

Does anyone know if with the most recent beta update, we're able to party chat with non-beta friends? I'm trying to figure out if the problems we're having are because of a NAT problem or because I'm in the beta and he's not

Also, has anyone figured out how to use Skype during a game without people in the game being able to hear your conversation? I can't seem to mute myself in the game without muting myself on Skype as well

This was only a thing for the March update because it was a major revamp of the party system. Once everyone got that, there were no longer any restrictions. Your problems are outside the console.

Re: Skype, there are no controls to prevent that yet.

that issue will only happen again if they do another major update to the party app. at this stage there hasnt been any updates since the original one that causes this issue. friend and i have been talking fine and im in beta and hes not.
