Is there anyway to auto name a channel in FL Studios? (details in the text.)

I was wondering when you set a drum or synth to a channel in the mixer if there was an option to auto name it. For example if you were to set "Kick 01" to channel 1 in the mixer, is there anyway to get it to automatically show up as "Kick 01" instead of renaming it from "Insert 1"? Sometimes renaming everything gets tedious.

If you use the "Assign free mixer track" function (Ctrl+L) it will autoassign and rename the channel.

You can also highlight multiple tracks and then Cntrl+Shift+L to assign more than 1 at a time.

If you select "Kick 01" in the step sequencer and right click "Insert 1" then select "Link selected channels">"To this track" it will auto-name and auto-color the mixer track based on the channel.

In FL 12 this is done by clicking the track button in the channel settings window.
