6+ weeks post partum, still bleeding?!

I have my 6week check up Wed, so I'll ask my OB then - but seriously, am I alone here or no? It wasn't like this with my older kidlets. I had a section, and am still bleeding enough to need a pad, not just a liner, every day since delivery. So over it. Just wondering if I lucked out previously and this time didn't. ;) In other news, I still can't believe we have this little miracle baby girl! She's asleep on my chest right now while her big bros watch American Ninja Warrior :)

I'm pretty sure I bled for two months. So glad when I could ditch the mom diaper!

I'm at 15 weeks, still bleeding (more like spotting now), doc said it's ok. Ugh.

I don't know if it's different with a c-section, but I was told that if I was bleeding through a pad an hour, to definitely call in. I ended up passing a monstrous blood clot at 3 weeks and being put on methergine to shrink my uterus faster (hurt like hell). I stopped bleeding at almost exactly 6 weeks. A friend of mine went 8, and her doc was not concerned.

Yikes! I'm not going through a pad and no big clots, just over it. Thanks for the feedback! :)

I didn't stop bleeding until 14 weeks post partum. :/

Yep. :-( same here. Now at 7.5 weeks it's down to just the occasional spot. So maybe soon?

Doing well! Mine was not very involved. He did a pelvic exam and asked me how I was doing and then said "ok, you're cleared to do whatever!" And also asked me about birth control. Pretty easy peasy!

I bled for 5 weeks- I calked the advice nurse at one point. I was told bleeding for up to 8 weeks is normal.

I bled for a few months afterwards, Dr told me to cut back on anything strenuous and relax, but I wasn't really doing anything but taking care of LO. I was having very bed problems with ex then, and as soon as we split I stopped bleeding. Stress and emotional strain will do it.

I bled for 3 months, and it ended up being due to a chunk of placenta that got left behind, but the doctor was able to quickly identify the issue and take care of it with no problem!
