Wanting to make smoothies for my picky 6yo and then baby food for baby too when she's ready. I know there are a few versions of the Ninja, my neighbor has the Vitamix, someone mentioned Nutri Bullet... Please help me navigate food smashers! :)

My daughter is one of the lucky ones who hates her car seat (Chicco Keyfit 30). We are considering the Chivco Nextfit. She has reflux and I'm hoping the adjustable recline will be better for her. She also gets too hot in the Keyfit to use it out of the car here in TX, so I'm carrying her in the Ergo or my arms anyway. Before we bite the bullet, any thoughts on the Nextfit? I really wanted the Foonf, but she's not yet 4mo and can't sit unassisted yet,and I don't want to wait any longer. Thanks Mommas! And Dads ;)
I should have known better, as this happened with my second baby.... I stocked up on Pampers when they were on sale. Now that Little Miss is two mos old she's leaking out the side. Switched to Huggies, problem solved. However, I have five boxes of Pampers. What's the best way to exchange them for Huggies? Do I need a receipt? I know a lot of moms have diaper showers and then exchange. Thanks!
So I have one from Target, Gilligan and O'Malley brand, and I like it okay. Mostly for sleep. I have one from Bravado and it is too intense. I love their bras, but the tank is restrictive and hard to unfasten and refasten straps one handed, which is necessary with baby in one arm. So before I buy anymore, thought I would ask for suggestions. I won't be making my own, although props to you mommas who do. I have two boys 6&8yo and an 8wk old, so there will be no crafting/pinteresting here! :)
Anyone have experience with the Frogg Togg Chilly Pads vs the Enduramax Cooling Towel, both at Bed Bath & Beyond?
Any of you have Windows phones and have an app you like for tracking your lo's development and milestones? I didn't love any of the pregnancy apps I had, and I don't have any for now that she is here. TIA :)
I have two older boys and breastfed them each for a year. My Little Miss is 7weeks old. When she nurses, she nurses one side and then when she's finished she pulls off and sleeps and the breast is empty and we're all set. Next feeding same thing but on the other side. Should I be trying to make her also eat the other side at each feeding? She is full after one side. I honestly can't remember but this may have been how it was with my older two. Am I doing this wrong after all, or does it matter? I have no problem making milk, and she has gone from 7#9 at birth to 12.5# now. Thanks ladies. :) Love my little boob monster!
So my kids are 8, almost 6, and newish (6 wks). We used Pampers w the oldest, switched to Huggies with the next because they fit him better and he was blowing out in Pampers. Little Miss is in Pampers Swaddlers w no dramas. But I keep seeing/hearing about Honest Co., and now they're at Target. So what gives. Thoughts? Other than they're cute? How are they price wise, quality, etc. Thx! <3, Curious Out of Loop Momma

I have my 6week check up Wed, so I'll ask my OB then - but seriously, am I alone here or no? It wasn't like this with my older kidlets. I had a section, and am still bleeding enough to need a pad, not just a liner, every day since delivery. So over it. Just wondering if I lucked out previously and this time didn't. ;) In other news, I still can't believe we have this little miracle baby girl! She's asleep on my chest right now while her big bros watch American Ninja Warrior :)
As I sit here in my glider rocking my precious one month old, I am struck by how skinny my feet are :) I posted a couple weeks before I had her that my feet were so swollen and I wished I had taken a pre-pregnancy pic of my feet like I had been taking pics of my expanding bump. As I see them now, my feet are EVEN SKINNIER than I remembered. I had no idea just how swollen I was. I saw my big ankles and fat toes and knew I was puffy, but I didn't realize how morphed I was. So trust me, take a pic of your regular feet now. Because with out a mirror, it is one part of your body you will be seeing a lot of, especially when you get big and uncomfortable and sit with your feet up. They will be righ
Anyone know if I can use the Buy Buy Baby 20%off coupon at Babies R Us on a Britax Frontier 90 for my 5yo?
Cheapest I can find it is $264, which is still a chunk of change! But he needs to be in a harness, and this seat will last the longest.

Hi there. Baby will be four weeks old Sat. I still have bright red bleeding. Not heavy, no clots, buy enough to wear a pad and not a panty liner. I just don't remember it lasting this long with my older two. I can call the OB in the am, but curious if anyone else is with me on this. I haven't done anything strenuous, just light housework (like wiping counters, doing dishes, laundry...) and of course lots of nursing :) TIA
Little Miss is three weeks old today. HB! :) Her cord just fell off. Let me back up and say that with her two older bros, their cords fell off right before or during their two week check up w the pediatrician. I vividly remember the ped. saying "let's just poke that back in!" and poof, she pushed their little belly buttons in. So now Little Miss, well her belly button is definitely OUT. I'm not terribly vain, but I'd rather her have an innie than an outtie. Her bros are almost 6&8, so I don't remember how far out their navels were before the pediatrician poked them in. But there is no poking-in of this one. Any one have experience poking in and outtie??? I'll call the office on Monday.
That's all I have for you, just a room back deal to share. We had to get our two older boys these boosters to fit 3across with new baby ;)
