I hope for the best, that she is found alive. However the recent history of abductions in a the Charlottesville area is cause for alarm. I hate to speculate that this is related to the murder of Morgan Harrington or Samantha Clarke, but it is hard not to make the connection to anyone who lives in the area. If this is foul play, I hope those responsible are found and brought to justice.

As someone that knows her personally, I truly hope your speculations far from the truth. I keep hoping she just turns up an hour or two away having gotten lost and found later by a helpful stranger.

I definitely thought of Morgan Harrington when I heard about Hannah. While I was over on the Help Find Hannah Facebook page I came across this article about a possible sighting of the suspect in Morgan's case. I hope they find her and that she's ok.

I was supposed to go to Charlottesville this weekend for testing for a law enforcement position. I have conflicting tests and can't attend anymore, but now I wish I could in hopes of getting hired and helping with this case. I hope for the best.

A few updates...

2 new videos were released this morning showing Hannah walking around the Downtown Mall early Saturday morning. It appears that a man was following Hannah. The man in question came forward and was questioned by police. He told them that he followed her because he was concerned for her well being. He also says that he saw Hannah approached by another man and that they seemed to know each other. You can read an article here or see the surveillance footage here.

There is a lot of speculation online right now about what is happening in this footage. Many people think the man following Hannah is acting in a pretty creepy way and I can't disagree. At one point he seems to step into a doorway to allow Hannah to pass him, them starts walking behind her. Also, many people are asking a lot of questions about the African American male with dreads. A couple of things just really seem odd. Watch and decide for yourself.

They found her body today.
e: Just heard that it's not confirmed yet, but almost certainly her.
edit 2: It's confirmed. Rest in peace, Hannah.

I watched the press conference. So sad. At least her family can start getting closure :(

Found out on Facebook last night, all of her friends from back home are deeply hurt by this. Anyone who ever met her was lucky to be able to have done so, myself included. She will absolutely be missed.
