Is it worth it to still preorder the iPhone+ or should I just hit up random stores (Apple Store, BestBuy, Etc.) a day or two after launch?

iPhone

My Galaxy Note (the original) is really starting to bug me.

Preordering now guarantees you a 6 7-10 days after release and a 6+ 3-4 weeks after release.

Is this true only for Apple? ATT is telling me October 13-31 for my 6.

3-4 weeks seems like a long time though if I can just hunt around stores a week or so after release and find one. That's what I'm wondering.

My AT&T also said 10/13-10/31, after they had originally said 9/19. I cancelled the order, and plan to roll the dice on release day. I live in a major city that has one "primary" Apple Store, so I'm hoping it's loaded to the gills with stock.

Or you know, we're both SOL. But I find it hard to believe stock can't be found prior to October.

If you're wanting a 6+, your best bet would be to just check random stores right when they open on Friday. Maybe around 8am. My suggestion would be Sams Club, Radio Shack, and Walmart. Most people don't realize that they sell iPhones.

Good call, didn't even think about Walmart or RadioShack.
