While messing with blue skull platforms I stumbled across a way to create a single continuous long moving platform by forcing the player to trigger one after the other. Here's the setup:
Each vertical track piece starts with a blue skull configured to move downwards. The player is forced to trigger them in succession. Once the "snake" is created you can guide it with tracks like normal.
Since blue skull platforms are unique in that they move faster than anything else and are only triggered when landed on, I figured this was worth posting. Maybe someone can make something cool
Level Title: Skeleton Belly

Description of Gameplay Elements:
The colossal Skeleton Belly crowds the sky with his monstrous wooden offspring. His children are tiny and large and silly and murderous. The only way through is to plunge into his swampy mouth and race through his hell tummy. Skeleton Belly all mixed up inside, you see?

I was tapping away trying to beat Kotal Kahn and my screen shattered under my thumb. IRL test your might. Goddamn it.
My Galaxy Note (the original) is really starting to bug me.
Wondering if there's anywhere I can walk in and sell my old Macs & monitors. There was a place by RIT I sold an egg shaped iMac to years ago but I don't think it's there anymore. I've got:
Published this game about 1.5 years ago. Just discovered this subreddit and would love to hear what you think about my game.

Web based and free to play of course. Would appreciate any feedback you have. Feel free to be brutal. My apologies if you've seen this already on r/gamedev.
Flash isn't cutting it for me anymore, but I can't give up the rich animation tools. What are the alternatives?
It seems like a lot of people are using 3D tools (like Unity) with a camera fixed on an axis to mimic 2D. Is this the standard approach these days?
I've also considered using a fast SVG parser (which supports animation), like Cairo (which FireFox uses). Really like this approach because I'm not bound to a company (Adobe, Unity). I'm only going to be using bitmap fills on simply polygons and simple (x, y, rotation) animations, so the rendering should still be fast, right?
Basically I want to be able to use GPU accelerated 2D graphics, but also be able to layout & animate tho
