Same here. But I'm around 40 yrs old. My brand of socialism comes from the 60's and 70's.
What I'm seeing with SJW's is an 80's/90's type of socialism. Ironically, it's a brand of socialism more of about individualistic careerism than actual social justice. It's an individualization and bastardization of Affirmative Action/Positive discrimination: individuals who grew up with upper-middle-class privilege and never suffered from any economic restriction, while being told that as women or minorities, they were entitled to more, that others were holding them back, that they were owed more.
Now they've reached adulthood without having ever been denied anything, and they have theirs hands extended saying "I'm entitled to more, give me what you owe me". That's why they have zero self-awareness. The concept of personal achievement and merit is non-existent in their psyche. They have a lot of unchecked frustration, because they can't reconcile their entitlement with their actual station in life. They were promised power and influence, told that the world was theirs; and now that they're out of their cocoon, they realize that they have to compete and/or share the world with others who have more things and/or different point of views.
At the core, SJW's reject social heterogeneity because they are unequipped to affirm themselves through competence. That is why they always beg for money and power. That is why they always want to create ideologically segregated spaces ("safe space"). That is why they are in Victim Mode 24/7. That is why criticism is hate to them.
They are unequivocally unfit to withstand and/or overcome any adversity.

Look, I understand that trend of replacing manual labor/ entry level jobs with robots and other technology cuts out a large portion of jobs (for both the educated and the not-so-educated), and that is definitely a problem we're gonna have to solve within the next 40 years or so. This brand of socialism is just crony capitalism by a different name, though. It's utterly unsustainable and worse, it actively damages the economy and literally everybody - including the extremely wealthy, they don't make any money if nobody else is spending any money.

I never understood grouping anyway I might be a little old school but names should mean something and one has to do with sexual identity and the other is gender identity, they have nothing to do with each other.

I'm part of the umbrella (G) and I've been saying that for years. I think it should all be separated out.
Gay/bi men, lesbian/bi women, trans people and 'other'. All have different wants and needs. It's dehumanising to shove us all under one all-encompassing, nebulous construct.
I feel the same way about PoC, i.e. everyone who's not white, as though they don't have different life experiences and wants.

Honestly I hate the need for labels, I think they're necessary to some degree but when they go from LGBT to LGBTQ to LGBTQ+ it's crazy to me. We don't need a label for every special snowflake, I don't believe a sexual identity should be your identity in the first place. More of an adjective if that makes sense. You're more than a label. You're a person! That's what I always say. I think that's the whole point of gay rights, etc. To be treated like people, farily and kindly. To be given the same rights as others not more. Etc. Although I can't point anyone asking for more in the LGBT community I can point to feminists who do that. Anyway just a side rant.
