Is mwo good? I played it some when it first was playable (alpha?, beta?).

It's a lot better than it was in beta (I played briefly in beta), and recently (about 2-3 months ago) Inner Sphere mechs got buffed rather nicely to compete with clan tech.
And I was wrong, when I said that it was scheduled for next week for King Crab and Gargoyle. PGI (MWO devs) moved it up to tomorrow.

Makes me mad almost that charlemagne is still way bugged and Paradox is releasing new DLC. Not to mention the converter is still broken.

You do realize that not the same team works on ALL the projects, right? The graphics guys will not code a broken feature, and the guys researching the events will not implement new features.

Yes, I do realize this, and no it doesn't make me feel any better. Do you realize that some of the Charlemagne and Way of Life code may interract such as already existing bugs may worsen or make worse any bugs that Way of Life may introduce? Yes, bugs happen, and they are normal, but releasing any sort of new content while major issues still exist in recently released content is unprofessional. It's not a matter of they abandoned fixing bugs, but rather a matter of class. I hope you can see what I mean by this and hope you don't take it the wrong way.

Unprofessional, classless? I don't know, I gotta disagree with you. What major bugs? They haven't stopped me one bit and I've got a canoe load of hours into this game. I'm pumped for this new DLC. You probably play ironman mode? I can see that being an issue with certain bugs where you can't use console commands to get out of it (nor should you have to). So I feel bad for you but slinging insults at the strangers who entertain you won't accomplish jack shit.

Most DLCs for any game are planned months in advance, they probably started working on this sometime around September, while work was already ongoing for Charlemagne. I can understand your frustration with Ironman, I had a game that was wrekd by a patch. So, I no longer play Ironman. I play just as if I was on ironman, so no loading of previous saves when things go wrong, but at least I'm safe from bugs/patches. And no, i dont care at all about steam achievements.

with the converter does it not still produce an exported save then to open it in notepad+ you just have to put that compatibility line at the bottom?

When I checked last the converter works with the newest beta patch (the one for Way of Life). I was able to use it when I used the beta.

Maybe they were working parallel. In anycase the way of life sounds like a smallish dlc.

For $8? I'm expecting a half-Charlemagne.
Of course, I feel like this is so minor they could have just included it in Charlemagne, buuuut....
I've never actually been unhappy with the CK2 DLC plan until now. This just feels cheap.

I'm kinda surprised that after all the outcry over CM's bugginess, they have the balls to offer preorders of the next DLC.
I'm choosing to believe this is an indicator Pdox is confident the on-release quality will be much better this time. And really hoping this is the case

I wanted to buy this... but no. It's time to say stop. Paradox seriously fucked up with Charlemagne and they can't fix this shit even after many patches. Also game become seriously unplayable after hundres of years gameplay.
