Respect Josuke Higashikata (Jojo's Bizarre Adventure: Diamond is Unbreakable)
Josuke Higashikata (not to be confused with the other Josuke Higashikata) is the protagonist of the fourth part of the long-running manga series Jojo's Bizarre Adventure.
Josuke is the 16-year old illegitimate child of Joseph Joestar and Tomoko Higashikata, the hot-tempered daughter of a policeman in Morioh, Japan. When Joseph's grandson Jotaro Kujo arrives in Morioh in the summer of 1999 to inform Josuke of his lineage and to warn him of the arrival of a dangerous serial killer, Josuke is thrown face-first into a series of bizzare adventures and mysteries in order to protect his hometown.
He's a friendly, clever, and dependable kid, the sort who always tries to do the right thing. However, he has a weakness for cash, and, to quote his character profile from the manga, "if you insult his hair, god help you."
Explanation of his powerset
Stands are invisible spirits manifested through the psychic energy of their users. They are only visible to those who possess them, and each one grants a unique set of superpowers to its user. Any damage done to a stand will be done to the user on the corresponding location on his or her body, but only stands can damage other stands. In general, the shorter the range a stand can move in, the more powerful it is.
Josuke's stand is Crazy Diamond, a short-range power type with the ability to fix anything it touches. There are three caveats: if Josuke is angry, he ends up distorting the stuff he should be repairing, he can't fix himself, and the things he fixes tend to repair themselves by flying back together at high speeds. He abuses the latter in ingenious ways.
Other Notable Stands/individuals
Yes, these are all references to rock bands and albums (except for Star Platinum, which is named after a Tarot card)
Star Platinum: Jotaro's stand. In addition to being one of the fastest and strongest of all stands, it can stop time for two seconds.
Surface: A stand that inhabits a wooden mannequin. It can take on the appearance of another person, and force them to mimic its movements. The only visible difference between Surface and the person it is mimicking is a screw in the middle of Surface's forehead.
Red Hot Chili Pepper: A stand based on electricity. It can absorb electricity in order to increase its strength and speed, heal itself, levitate and generate bright bursts of light. It can also travel through power lines and other conductors at the speed of light, sometimes dragging opponents along with it for an instant kill. Its user is wannabe rock guitarist Akira Otoshi.
Highway Star: The stand of Yuya Fungami, a young member of a biker gang who was injured in a grievous crash. It relentlessly pursues its target by scent at a speed of 60 KPH, teleporting to them instantly if they stop. When it catches up with them, it begins leeching their life in order to heal Fungami.
Killer Queen: The stand of Yoshikage Kira, an intelligent serial killer with a fetish for severed hands who just wants to keep living a totally peaceful and boring life. Kira later assumes the identity of another salaryman, Kosaku Kawajiri.
Killer Queen has three main abilities, all of which revolve around creating bombs.
-
The First Bomb: Can turn anything it touches into a bomb which disintegrates whatever touches it either on contact, or when Kira clicks the switch. Kira later uses this in conjunction with a stand that can manipulate the air in order to create invisible missiles.
-
The Second Bomb, Sheer Heart Attack: A small heat-seeking bomb that relentlessly pursues the hottest target in the area. It's completely impervious to harm.
-
The Tertiary Bomb, Bites the Dust: Can be placed on any non-stand user that knows Kira's true identity. If anyone learns his identity from this bystander, they will instantly die, and time will be rewound; only the person the bomb was placed on remembers the original timeline. In the new sequence of events, Bites the Dust's victim will die no matter what happens, provided that Kira doesn't need to retract Killer Queen in order to use another bomb.
Another note: Diamond is unbreakable saw a massive change in Hirohiko Araki's art style, so don't be surprised if characters look pretty different in some of these scans.

- Follows up by throwing a shard of glass with his own blood on it, then fixing it, causing it to hit Kira on the spot he hit him with his blood cutter--effectively, he makes a homing missile album (Along with the motorcycle feat, that's probably one of the strongest contenders for coolest feat in all of Jojo)
Steals his father's wallet by fixing a piece of a photo he held onto album
Weaknesses:
Aside from the previously mentioned inability to heal himself, Josuke is still human. If you caught him by surprise, it would be possible to kill him with a gun or a knife.
So, that about covers it. If I missed anything, don't hesitate to tell me!
