Calling all bloggers, essayists, and webmasters!

There are more than a countable number of subscribers in this reddit who have their own blog or website, be it a sexy-looking Squarespace-enabled site or a simple Wordpress essay page. Over the lifespan of this reddit, the mods have received a plethora messages, comments, and posts all about this blog and that blog, but to moderate the sub efficiently and to ensure relative fairness, very few actually are allowed to be advertised.

That's about to change. Please read:

Every month we will 'advertise' a blog or website by one of our subscribers. This will include being accented in the sidebar and having the controller/owner/moderator of that blog be allowed to write an extended text post promoting his site: discussing his inspiration to start it, his motivation to continue it, and his unique message or philosophy that drives it. Addition: This will also act as an informal AMA for the other 9k+ subscribers here to interview the blogman.

Many of our contributors are blogmen, and we (the moderators) appreciate you (the blogmen). You contribute not only to this subreddit, but also the overall growth and maturation of men everywhere. We can only continue growing through cooperative consideration of each other.

So, what's the next step?

PM the mods your blog or site link, with a brief description of the site (i.e. a summary of what you'd post for your month). It's just that simple. We will go on a first-come, first-serve basis, although accepting a blog is the prerogative of the mod team. You (blogman) will be informed a week in advance of "your month," and we will start on the first of April.

If your blog is inappropriate, generalized spam, or disagreeable to our community, we won't use it. I expect that to be a very, very small percentage, but that's the disclaimer here.

Please comment below any questions, so everyone can read them.

Edit: Additions, noted.
