Cryptocurrency Q&A plus dogecoin giveaway thread! Comment for some doge

Hey IndieDevs,

Due to the recent interest in cryptocurrency from the Mix Tape idea presented here, here, here, and here, I thought I'd do a little Question and Answer session for anyone who is confused by how crypto works.

Feel free to ask me anything about dogecoin, bitcoin, or cryptocurrency in general, I'll do my best to give a thorough and helpful answer. Or just comment below with "wow" or whatever to get a dogecoin starter tip!

Download your wallet at http://dogecoin.com/, come say hi at r/dogecoin, and accept your first tip with dogetipbot here in this thread (by replying to the bot's PM by clicking the +accept link). Commands for dogetipbot such as +history are in the sidebar of r/dogetipbot

Ask away :)
