I'd like to play a game...welcome to the Season 2 Finale Fantasy Army contest!

NSFWGet Gold!!

YOU CAN FIND THE RESULTS HERE!!

The contest is now CLOSED! Thank you for entering! Good luck and happy hunting!

With three days to go before the finale, we thought it would be fun to play a little game. If successful this will be repeated next season as a proper fantasy army league!

The winner of this contest gets a month's reddit gold, courtesy of the mods.

After many comments and a good deal of tweaking, we have the final rules. Thanks to everyone who commented!

FINAL RULES

  1. Fantasy armies must have 11 members. This must include:
  • Two grounders

  • Two mountain people

The rest are up to you, however:

  1. The characters must have appeared in at least TWO episodes (from either season) and must have appeared in this season.

  2. The characters must not be seriously injured or have uncertain fates (as in we currently aren't sure if they're dead or alive) before the start of the final episode. So for example this counts out Raven, who we know is barely able to move, and also Kane, who is definitely not going to be dancing around any time soon.

  3. All submissions must be PM'd to me, u/Amonette2012. I will post the armies below when the contest closes. This is to stop people copying each other and to keep an air of mystery about the proceedings! Speculation and discussion is cool, but don't post your army for everyone to see. Please do not PM your entries to other mods as they might get missed.

  4. One entry per user, please use main accounts rather than throwaways.

  5. Once submitted, entries are final and cannot be edited.

SCORING

I've decided to change this up a bit. Please read carefully as it will affect the way you build your army, it also includes a penalty for attempting to turtle.

TWO POINTS for every army member that survives until the closing credits of the season 2 finale. Each army member must appear in the finale to count as surviving it and must not be missing or 'fate unknown'.

TWO POINTS for every kill made by a member of your army

THREE POINTS for every kill your army makes against another army (so if one of your characters kills a character another redditor has picked)

ONE POINT for every serious injury inflicted on a member of another person's army (rendering the person unable to walk, or walking but with a missing arm etc - injury severity tbd by me)

MINUS TWO POINTS for every character in your army that does not appear in the finale. If they didn't appear because we find out they're dead right at the beginning (i.e. died before the finale) points will not be deducted. So if the first thing we hear is Jaha saying 'it's a shame Murphy got eaten by that mutated dolphin' you don't lose two points for having Murphy in your army.

MINUS THREE POINTS for a friendly fire kill (a member of your army killing another member of your army)

All deaths must be on screen or mentioned on screen - so either we see a corpse or we have it confirmed on the show that someone is dead. Yes I know they might be wrong/lying/on crack but I'm not psychic so if someone says 'Clarke is deader than a dead thing that's dead, her head bounced off and everything' we're counting it. Missing doesn't count as dead.

If one person kills too many people to count we'll make an estimate. For example if Cage sends out another missile, we will give an approximated death count. This will be a big number most likely, so if two people had Cage in their army, it would basically cancel out and come down to their other army member's contribution to the score and one of them would win.

Click here for a spreadsheet showing example scores - you can play with the examples by changing the stats in black to see how it affects the scores. Please don't touch the red or blue text!
