How the scores were calculated

First off, we had to decide what to do about Clarke and Bellamy’s joint kill. Obviously they did it together and were both responsible for the death toll. So we figured that a) if they were tried for war crimes, they’d each be responsable for the total body count, and b) one of the people killed was Maya, who counts as a kill against another player’s army (3 points) on the scoreboard, and we couldn’t count Maya as a separate kill for Clarke and Bellamy without doing the same for everyone else.

We then had to assign a number, and this is pretty arbitrary given that it now comes down to armies that had both Clarke and Bellamy, so we went with 300 kills for the mountain minus Maya.

Mountain people

The successful teams were the ones that had Emerson, who survived, and Cage, who got a score of 3 (killed one sky person before strapping Raven down, injured Abby who was in several armies) rather than Maya and Dante, who not only got a score of 0 for not making it to the end of the episode, but knocked 9 points off Bellamy and Clarke's combined score.

Sky people

The sky people you wanted on your team were of course Octavia (6 points - 2 for surviving plus two non army kills) and Jaha (4 points - 2 for surviving plus throwing a dude off a boat into a seamonster).

Grounders

As for grounders, well, only two of them showed up! So Indra was a good choice as she got 2 points for surviving, and Lincoln got 5 points if you didn't have Cage in your army, and -1 if you did (which is still better than the -2 you'd get from any other grounder).

33 people entered the contest. Bellamy was the most popular entry, followed by Clarke and then Lincoln.

One of the main points of this event was to playtest future events for next year. I'd really like to hear people's thoughts, suggestions and possible improvements for next time!
