Are they kind of going to be FA cards?
Edit: The article says that the packs will be released in short bursts, so I don't think there's a print limit, but they'll only be available for a short amount of time.

Yep. Each pair of cards will be offered in five different windows. Which seems okay to me since they're probably trying to be fair to people in different countries.
Mostly I just wonder what the next window will be. Will we get the five Luke/Stormtroopers windows before moving on to the next pair or will they stagger the pairs/windows so that all the cards are in circulation before the next Luke window shows up?

The digital set was teased prerelease as 1,000 card greatest hits of all Topps sets, so any image is possible. Sir Alec and Han were the othrt 2 shown most often.

I'm seeing this as they won't "sell out" but if you don't catch one of the 5 windows of opportunity for each offering you will not get them.

Yeah, I read it as the first window will be the only time you will be able to pull these two cards. Then, they will be gone forever. The next window will be your only opportunity to pull the next two, and so on and so forth. I was lucky enough to pull 3 after spending 100K (I knew there was a reason I saved all my daily free credits). I traded one dupe for three 5K run inserts, a 15K run insert, and a green Plo Koon. If we can indeed pull these two commemorative cards again in the future, I think I made out alright in the deal. Right now, there's been about 1600-1700 pulls for each commemorative card.
I wanted to pull the trigger on the deal fast cause I didn't know how limited they would be. Looking back, I might have been able to get a vintage but I'm fine with what I got.

Cards are available now but only for a limited time (until 6pm eastern - 30 mins total). Two cards - Stormtroopers and Luke - that are in the FA style.
Packs give you seven cards and a decent shot at yellows (I also pulled a Connections insert in one). They're spendy though. 5,000 credits.
Cards have a 1:20 chance of being pulled.

Wasted well over 150K before I realized these weren't limited run. FML. Didn't get anything. This is not sustainable. :|

I don't want to even say how much I spent, but I did get them both.
We just don't have enough details about the set yet. If these get a sold out tag after all 5 waves of packs are over I can definitely see the complete set being sought after like the Transmission post says, the higher quantity count won't matter. My worry though is that these will pop back up into circulation in other ways.
The other concern is how spaced out the releases will be. All 5 packs in the same week? I don't think I'd be able to keep up with chasing these every week. Every month I'd be OK dropping the amount of credits I did today. Hard to imagine them slow dripping those packs out 5 times over the course of a month though.
Fascinating set for sure.

Based on the count around 15 minutes in, it looks like Luke will be a run around 3000 and Stormtroopers maybe less, around 2500 to 3000.
