Awards. "Explained." At least at this point.

So today was the first Hoth award giveout, the Creatures. No award card, but don't trade them away yet.

Each sub-set of Hoth has its own award, only two of the three have award cards for this first set unfortunately. Both Vehicles and Combatants have an Award card which will be given in the same way: matching parallels. The award card you receive will then be from the same parallel.

As well as the sub-set awards, tomorrow we'll set a date for the total Hoth award. This will be given out for having all 8 Hoth cards of matching parallels at that date/time. Have EVERY SINGLE HOTH CARD? You'll get every single "big" award.

This is ALSO how it'll work with Nightbrothers. Have every "base" Nightbrothers card? You'll get the "base" award. If you're like me and have a (none more) Black Darth Maul, a Red Savage Opress and am waiting on tomorrow's, then my advice is GET TRADING.

Credits payouts for awards will currently stay the same for all parallels.

I had more to add but got sidetracked with an interesting thing we're doing tonight. Back to answer questions at some point.

Thanks Steve. It's great having you be so interactive here in the sub. It really adds a lot to the experience.

The one question I have is that, for the marathon sets, it talks about rewards for having cards #1-10 in a series, #11-20, & #21-30, then the big award for having all 30. Will the rewards for having #1-10 be given out after #10 is released, or once all 30 have been released?

Yes, ditto this, thanks! The first few days I was trading I was thinking "boy would it be nice if there was someone who would answers questions and clarify these things... but of course there will be no such person..." And then I realized that you were doing just that! Thanks!

Hi Steve, usually there is an early afternoon (between the yellow and gold announcements) and a later afternoon/evening special release each day. If possible, could you tell us if the final Nightbrother will be released in the later timeframe as they have been in the past, or in the earlier.

So, to clarify. If I have complete set of White Creatures, complete set of White Vehicles, and a complete set of Blue Combatants, I won't get the overall Hoth award card?

Bawls. I get why they did that, but it sucks. It just encourages me to only collect white parallels from now on.

I went for the three lowest colors and it was insanity. I can't imagine going for all five.

I do think that with Hoth they had too many parallels. Get rid of blue and yellow across the board. If you want more cards, give me those awesome stationary weapons, or the leaders... Hoth set and no Veers?

Can you get multiple award cards for multiple sets of parallels? ie 2 sets of white Combatants gets you 2 white award cards?
