I thought someone screenshotted my creation. I was like... Why?
I attempted to contain a 9x9 Singularity. I guess they can get bigger than that now... I did not know that!

Sadly you cannot. A stage 5 sing will start pulling anchored objects. So that's your containment gone :p

Do the fields with the Big uggly square field generators stop the sing? With four of those you could theoretically create an 11x11 power source, And you'd need it, to keep the shields running.

Anything about Stage 5 will be sucked in. Containment won't stay.

Tge thing with these field generators is you can place them far away enough not to get pulled in.

Can stage 4 be contained? I was tempted to do that after cargo ordered emitters instead of field generators the first time and made me wait.

In the default setup Stage 4 can be contained. But you cannot keep the PA online as Stage 4 begins to gain more strength even from a PA set to 0. If I want to run the sing at level 4. I power it for a good 10 shots after hitting level 4. Then offline the PA altogether. In my experience it lasts 45 minutes in that state. Sometimes I even take the control board of the PA computer to stop people sabotaging it. I also usually rewire a radiation collector directly into the power grid for the emitters so that if someone cuts the wires from the airlocks they have to risk being sucked into the sing to cut it.

Ahh thanks! Im always looking for more power, maybe enough so power gloves are actually harmful.

That is a size 11 singularity, the sprite's resolution is 352x352 and is apparently only in /vg/ codebase.

Yep, can confirm; that's a super singulo from /vg/, it gets created when the singulo eats the SM (which is right next to the singulo soo if you're (un)lucky that'll be fun)

this was on a custom baycode server. It didn't eat anything special.

The 'missing' emitter in the center is just because the light went out and you can't see it. As a bonus, I didn't destroy the station!

No one wanted to help me either, but by time they thought they should stop me I had already reconfigured half the field and ordered more field generators.

(After this one of the sings just died off, other one kept EMPing everything and Dick someone died while screwing around in the sing chamber.)

Yes it is unfortunate that one shrank down to stage 1 eventually, I tried to keep it at stage 2 but the chamber was too wide and it moved out of the accelerator beam. I did get it back to stage two once throwing items in it, but I didnt get the accelerator running on time running back inside. I died the second time I went out to throw things in and accidentally thrown myself in front of the emitter, standing up would have been death from the field generator.
Now if I had a willing engineering team...

You mostly had the willing part. What you lacked was enough staff (atleast two just walked off and never talked on the radio) and a lack of chaos to keep them busy.
You also need to lead better. Give people orders, assign them tasks, check in with them.

Engineering tends to be a problem area because most engineers don't know what they are doing and will find some obscure way to indirectly kill everyone.
