I like to build shit by hand but hate to lose it later on. Any way to save it?
I have an old tablet I use for reading and the plug got all messed up after years of abuse. In an attempt to repair it I may have accidentally reversed the charging poles and popped what I assume is a capacitor. It was connected for less than 1/8 of a second but it was enough.
The first picture is the exploded component, the second picture is of two identical undamaged components on the board. I can read the blown component enough to identify they are a match.
First line starts with a tiny triangle then says 107J, the second line says 25FY3. The thin line on the left is a dark orange and the rest is a pale yellow. Please be aware that the Y is pretty poorly printe
I really hate LINDA in every single possible way, it is the opposite of fun and entertaining and just a pain in the ass that breaks shit. Im leaving my current server because atmospherics and engineering are my favorite rolls but LINDA just makes it no fun with infinite spess winds, broken air alarms, rooms that take an hour to equalize, ect. It has no redeeming qualities, zero nada, zilch.
What servers still use ZAS? Are there any other systems besides ZAS and LINDA?
I am currently work at a business in Michigan that sells lawncare including fertilizer, chemical weed control, tree spraying, and occasionally lawn seedings.
The owner claims they are an agricultural business because most of their yearly revenue is from spreading fertilizer. Because of this, he claims he doesn't have to pay us overtime. Does spreading fertilizer alone qualify you as an agricultural business? Note that we do NOT spread fertilizer for anything besides other people's lawns and ornamental trees and shrubs.
Considering the guy works us 70+ hours a week since April, there is a lot of potential overtime pay for 5 or 6 people.
Bonus Question:
Is there anything we should know b

This is my first build, I think I covered everything pretty well but I would welcome any suggestions and would love to see if there are any easy problems I missed!
I wanted to get my buddy a bottle of absinthe as a present and ordered some online but it hasn't arrived yet! The party is tomorrow and now im empty handed. Anyone know liquor stores that sell absinthe, besides lucid, in mid-michigan? I would prefer closer to the thumb area but im willing to drive a bit if I have to!
Anyone know any dealers? Google has failed me! I was suppose to have today off so I could look for it but I just got called in for a 12 hour shift so I have to buy it tomorrow afternoon and don't have enough time to check all the possible liquor stores!
Im having a hard time finding any real good information about building your own control systems. Ive never done anything even resembling this but I know if I spend enough time I can do it. The problem is, where do I start for a resource? Anyone have any relevant sites, insights or information on building your own game controllers?
Really, want I need is a few potentiometers for trim controls, mixture controls, ect. And possibly a few extra buttons. Im not really keen on the idea of cannibalizing existing controllers except for maybe the actual switches themselves. I currently have a Saitek X-52 for my stick and throttle but there isn't nearly enough axis's for full controls and I find it ve
