Running with an ipad in a ziplock bag?

I currently run with my iPad in a backpack. I keep the iPad right around my lower back in order to keep it from bouncing around. The only downside is occasionally after a longer run I will see a little bit of moisture on the screen, I'm assuming it's from sweat and gu that get absorbed through the backpack. I'm considering putting the iPad in a ziplock bag before putting it in the backpack. Will I likely run into any issues doing this? The iPad is used for both playing angry birds and watching youtube while running as well as the gps to track my run. Wasn't sure if the bag would cause it to overheat or anything of that nature.

Poke holes in the ziplock bag. I've done this similarly with condoms as well to help keep good air flow.

I like to put my ipad in a zip lock bag and then put that zip lock bag in the water filled bladder of my camelbak. Perfect for a 5K.

I don't know about iPad but I can say from experience that attaching an iMac to your back like a rucksack is hill training in disguise.

You should probably post this to a few other subs to get as many answers as possible. I'm not sure if anyone has ever put electronics in a ziplock bag before, so you might have to ask a lot of people.

I once saw someone running with an iPad, they were using it to listen to music but I like to believe they were taking a few selfies as well.

It should be okay as long as you put the backpack into another backpack.

I just use the docking station on my jogging stroller. Once I get a second monitor hooked up I should be able to run a doppler radar app to keep ahead of any rain showers in the area.
