I currently run with my iPad in a backpack. I keep the iPad right around my lower back in order to keep it from bouncing around. The only downside is occasionally after a longer run I will see a little bit of moisture on the screen, I'm assuming it's from sweat and gu that get absorbed through the backpack. I'm considering putting the iPad in a ziplock bag before putting it in the backpack. Will I likely run into any issues doing this? The iPad is used for both playing angry birds and watching youtube while running as well as the gps to track my run. Wasn't sure if the bag would cause it to overheat or anything of that nature.
Please tell me if I should run and also can you tell me what to have for lunch today?? I can't make my own decisions.
Guys it doesn't look like anyone has posted about this before? Didn't see any similar threads. What do you wear for treadmilling, is 10 layers of clothes too much? tnx
Guys DAE have to eat during their long runs?
My long run is 1.5km, but I find I get so hungry during this that I have to stop and eat every 0.5km. I usually bring some pizza for first pit stop and then I find somewhere to poop and for the last 0.1km of my route I need extra energy so I swing by mcdonalds and get a mcflurry.
Hi, I do not think I have OCD, I realise obsessions are a big part and I don't have those - but my compulsive habits can get pretty extreme and I thought maybe some people in the subreddit may be familiar with the symptoms I describe below. Perhaps also someone knows if there is a word that describes this kind of behaviour?
Would appreciate any help at all :D
Beware, BIG wall of text, don't say I didn't warn you. :P
Symptoms:
Everything has to be equal on the right and left side of my body. For example if I touch an object or feel some feeling (air blow..etc) on the left side of my body, I feel the need to replicate this on the right side. And vice versa.
Example: If I walk on a cra
New vegetarian here, I have a boring question about protein intake.
I've read that I should eat "a variety of foods" to get all the essential amino acids I need, but I find this a bit vague.
Are there any foods that contain all the amino acids needed? Does anyone have a list somewhere that says what foods contain what types of protein? I googled around but failed miserably to find anything. Any help or advice appreciated.
hhh
I'm having a lot of fun on this server, but one thing is a bit odd and doesn't really tie in to the experiment - and that is all the secrecy. There's a few places I know the name of but don't know where are they are, and I'm sure there's plenty that I haven't even heard of.
It just doesn't really make sense to me, there isn't a war (that I know if ) - what is this secrecy meant to be "simulating"? I don't know of any real life example where people started secret towns and secret countries - the only exceptions are wartime and military.
I know griefers exist, but that problem should be solved by citadel. The secrecy detracts from the realism in my opinion. I still respect the wishes of the
