Crossfire flickering :( - any recommendations welcome!

Hello fellow Uruks,

I bought into r/buildapc's advice on how AMD drivers are all awesome now and given my budget, bought a couple of R9 290x cards. They're awesome, loud, hot and power hungry (I don't miss the GTX480 SLI at all!). However Shadow of Mordor has in-game flickering (minimal) and menu flickering (extensive to the point of text being unreadable in CF). I'm using the latest AMD Beta driver (the one they pushed out for GTA V) - they said they have a CF profile for Shadow of Mordor: Middle Earth but that's a lie.

With CF enabled (at 2160p), I'm getting 60-70 FPS. That rate drops to 30-34 FPS in windowed borderless mode (single card). I tried this "fix" but it didn't improve things at all. Am I stuck until AMD fixes their driver/CF profiles? Thanks!
