What is the minimum grade needed to pass a pass/fail class?

For some reason, I couldn't find this information. The closest official answer I could find is "it depends on the college offering the class." I'm taking a CS class as a free elective pass/fail (it doesn't count toward my degree requirements other than free elective). Is the "passing" grade a 70 or 60?

It's up to your professor's discretion.

Generally you need a C, so whatever the cutoff for a C is in that particular class.

It should say on the syllabus

It's almost always a C, but I wouldn't assume that's the case with your specific class

Anyone know specifically for an HTS what it is? I'm guessing it's a C...

Post-Semester Edit: I got a fucking A. I hate my life so much...
