No bathroom, 8/10 (because of realistic standarts)

The bathroom is in the basement! I'm working on stitching all the images together, but here's a "sneak peek".

That's a long fuckin walk to the bathroom.

Clearly OP is a bear, and this house is in the woods.

Do you mean 'Sneak Peek'?

Yes, thanks for the correction! I accidentally deleted my comment

This is my new manor home. I'm quite proud of it. Each block was labored over for hours. If you have any questions about material usage, I'd be happy to answer.

You may notice the teleporter "door" in the basement. The door leads to the rest of the basement. I'll be uploading the rest of it soon!

Nevermind. I see you have answered it.

IT looks so awesome! Love the roof detail.

2
bigcatpants•

No big screen TV? :-p

It's very well done! Nice and cozy. What wood makes up the planks composing the spiral staircase?

1
TheGoldenHandOP•

Thank you! The stairs are honey platforms painted brown.

Gerael•

Beautiful, gonna save that.

I love your well. I may have to steal the design sometime.

1
TheGoldenHandOP•

Thank you, it even has copper coins at the bottom. Poor Merchant wasting all his money on wishes. The top was made with wooden fence for the posts and I used actuators to deactivate the roof so players can walk through it (which was important to me).

What's wrong with you, burning rubber and shit. That's some dark smoke.

1
Fourmost_Unicorn•

Woah! The spiral staircase is a lovely touch.

1
TherealGallade•

Wow! What're the roof and roof walls made of, that's a beautiful red block!

1
TheGoldenHandOP•

The roof outline is made of red dynasty shingles and the roof walls are copper wall.

1
TherealGallade•

Very Nice!

1
TherealGallade•

Awesome! Also, is the stained glass window a background wall you can get?

1
TheGoldenHandOP•

Yep! Their recipe is Glass Wall + Gems.

This is quite the cozy cottage OP, you have a good eye for design!

You should place this home on an empty world with no items in the chests with TEdit.

BigGirl420•

I'm gonna just copy like 60%of these ideas for some of my manors and such.

1
kiki261191•

I love the roof! Would like to borrow the idea for my future 1.3 builds. :D

God damn, do I love steampunk furniture.

1
rinsed_dota•

really looks great

Having seen this style of construction before I always had a particular misgiving.. What would a terrarian think of it? I think it might go something like - useless top floor, no entry, left side room is pyramidal without reason, no passage between the 2 rooms, pyramidal construction of left room leaves no space for placement of common furniture / hinders any practical use.. I.e. that is not a roof it is a (very weird) top floor..

If aliens existing in >3 dimensions projected a familiar architecture on Earth, which looked pleasing to them, wouldn't it look strange to us. See also flatland

Btw more practically how do you defend that, it has unblocked wood doors at the ground level
