[Serious] If it were legally obtainable and safe, would you eat human meat?
For example: if we took all the death row inmates and after they were executed and made them into a Soylent of some kind.

I might try it but I wouldn't regularly eat it.
No, but on the other hand if you and me were lost at sea in life raft, and you fell asleep before me.....
Desperation yes, but no curiosity about it. I like it.
Absolutely. Honestly, I don't really see anything all that wrong with cannibalism. I mean, people all over the world are starving and we're just burying perfectly good meat, what a waste.
Yeah, but not a lot because regular consumption of human flesh leads to brain abscesses.

My morals have to be in tact to do so, for instance, a man loses a leg due to a clean cut accident, or someone who died from something that didn't affect/infect the meat. But I'm sure it would be pretty good if it was a healthy person.
Yes, I am always willing to try new meats and flavours when I travel, and to be honest I have always wondered what human tastes like.
Probably not, but who knows.
Yes, but not because I want to, just to say I've done it.
I've had German Shepherd before. Not bad, but nothing I go out of my way to eat.
Yes if the owner of the said meat allowed it. (Gave permission before his death)
That's why you use death row inmates. That just now becomes part of the sentence.
Wouldn't do it then.
If someone on thier death bed requested to be eaten, I'd be game.
But at that point you've become responsible for the safety of the meat, unless we convert some morgues into butchers.
Yeah, I would eat it. But only the really good, high quality cuts of meat.
As a follow up question... which parts are "high quality"? I can't really imagine there being a prime human cut. Just don't eat the brain to avoid prion disease, right?
Butt meat
This seems like not a serious response, but I can't find any flaw in your logic.
Yea kinda really stoned and forgot about the serious tag, but I do think a nice butt roast with some sage and lemon wedges and garlic bread on the side would make a great dinner.
I have no idea, I would have my servants figure out which piece of meat is best.
That seems like an unnecessary amount of trial and error.
That logistical and moral dilemma is for my servants to deal with.
Time would tell. At first maybe no.
No because it's about trust. What defines a person for eating and a person for not eating. If we eat people, it'll open up a whole can of worms, even if it is just inmates at first.
I doubt there would be such a significant demand that it would devolve into sport hunting prize humans for the rare meat. More people die than are born. Eventually we'll have to find something apart from burying dead bodies to do with them.
Yes. I will try every food once if available
I'm glad this was the first response, because I would also eat it at least once. I would eat it all the time if it were delicious. I'd probably eat it all the time if it was just OK and cheaper than chicken. And to any mods, this is a serious and practical decision, not a joke.
Well the culture I grew up in I've eaten some wierd food so I've taken that approach because I might enjoy it and more times then not I do. But if it's legit and cooked yeah
