Looks like valve actually listens to all those noobs complaining that techies is OP.
Too bad they are nerfing Zeus, Invoker, NP, Spectre and Silencer's aghanim in the process.

More indirect meepo buffs, I ain't complaining :D
Also applies to heroes like huskar, undying etc.. who tend to die moments before getting kills with burning spears/zombies.
Also doom is now even more useless than he previously was.. heck even if you kill someone with pudge hook at max range you miss the gold.. Pa dagger, bounty shurikan.. basically any ranged hero, ranged ability or DoT is completely useless.. and if you're global/reliant on longrange kills you're basically redundant.
Going to go for that sunstrike kill? Hold on a minute friend! Your mana might actually be more valuable now.
I can only assume someone was working very late and had absolutely no idea what they were doing.. here's hoping it's reverted soon.

You still get gold for your kills, you just miss the bonus AoE gold...

Let's be honest, Zeus and Spectre are bullshit right now in pubs anyway.
Spectre was always a greedy and risky pick. I couldn't say Zeus was ever bad.
But this change only makes them worse.
What does this mean exactly?
Kills give money twice: Killer gold and AoE gold.
Have you ever killed someone with a beyond godlike streak? You get 1k killer's gold and 1.6k AoE gold. If you kill him from farther than 1300 range (which is not really impossible) you only get 1k instead of 2.6k
So does techies not get all the gold normal heroes would when suiciding?
You deal the damage and kill enemies in one tick, thus you gain the XP and gold.
Techies dies in the next tick (0.03s later)
You can easily see this for yourself by killing a necronomicon warrior with suicide. You will die to the necronomicon warrior instead of denying yourself, since the necronomicon's last will is applied on the same tick.
Invoker is even more underwhelming now..
Just got out of an invoker match, got 6 sunstrike kills and made about ~2k gold from all of them combined.
