Terrible at defense...tips?

i always up chasing the ball and when i do stay back to defend the ball always slip past me anyway
my aim is also quite bad an im not entirely sure why
pls help

try adjusting the camera FOV in option to ~105. allows you to see more of the field. and try different settings out. personally i do better contact wise when the camera height is lower (more behind the car instead of over the top)
oh i havent fiddled with the settings
